Masood Mustafa



Upon graduating from Singapore Management University (SMU) under a government scholarship, Masood entered the Civil Service as a Senior Officer with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) handling Singapore immigration. During his time there, he was involved in several national level projects such as the International Cruise Terminal at Marina Bay, rejuvenation of the Checkpoints, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) facility at the Singapore Cruise Centre, and technological projects such as the automated lanes at the checkpoints known as the e-IACS (Integrated Access Control System). Apart from that, Masood spearheaded various policy groups to implement new immigration, security and operational protocols to support national immigration requirements; enhance border security; and improve overall efficiency at the checkpoints.


While serving the Ministry, Masood was nominated as Valedictorian for the graduating MHA's Senior Officers batch. Among the numerous awards and commendations garnered over the years, he was awarded “Gold” by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) as part of the Organizing Committee for the Bali Process Workshop involving Senior Immigration Officials from South East Asia and Oceania region. He was also speaker for various Immigration conferences regionally, to address concerns on regional Maritime and Seaport Security as well as Singapore immigration.


Upon leaving the public sector, Masood then joined the world's largest corporate immigration law firm, where he managed several key MNC client accounts and led a team of immigration specialists to provide high-level advisory to corporate clients based in U.K, U.S, and Asia Pacific on Singapore business immigration related enquiries. Throughout his time there, he has successfully assisted both small and large businesses to set up in Singapore in compliance to local regulations. Additionally, Masood was also involved in several dialogue sessions with both private and government organizations such as the various chambers of commerce, industry leaders, Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) etc.


With the vast knowledge and experience accumulated over the years, Masood now heads Immigration@SG LLP as Director and Managing Partner, where he oversees the whole management of the company to ensure its excellence.


Muhammad Ryhan

Practice Manager


Ryhan brings about with him more than 10 years of relevant experience across the Financial, Marketing, Media and Hospitality sectors having been in the employ of major banks and regional advertising agencies. With his firm understanding in handling individuals from various industries and backgrounds, he possesses the ability to understand strategic business needs, operational efficiencies, and meeting critical timelines.


As an individual who values the importance of mentoring younger professionals, in his past role, he was a key member of the team that first implemented the Online Securities Trading application on mobile platforms in Singapore, and also the driving force in spearheading the Young Investor initiative (promoting financial prudence amongst youths in Singapore). As such, he has addressed and guided students from National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University via conferences and programmes initiated with the institutions. 


After leaving the Financial sector, Ryhan spent several years handling immigration work, where he supported various government agencies, statutory boards, foreign embassies on key projects, forging close working relationships along the way. These experiences formed the foundation that enabled Ryhan to thrive in his role at Immigration@SG LLP and moved swiftly up the ranks to Practice Manager. In this role, he oversees the entire Legal team, and personally attends to the cases involving high-net worth individuals and VIP clients. Further, the position involves interacting with compelling individuals from diverse backgrounds including C-Suites and Senior Professionals in providing personalised advisory and guidance on inbound Singapore immigration matters.


With experience in mentoring, it is befitting that as Practice Manager at IASG, Ryhan is responsible for ensuring that the Legal Team is well-trained and polished in their understanding of Singapore immigration policies and procedures.  Under his guidance also, the team is adept in handling all manner of inbound immigration work.

Elena Kwa

Lead Consultant


Having been predominantly in the Service and Retail Sector for the first half of her career, Elena has
spent the last 5 years providing expertise advisory for both Individuals and Corporates looking to
immigrate into Singapore. Besides specialization in the Singapore Permanent Residence (PR)
scheme, she is also well versed in other immigration matters involving the Immigration and
Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

As a Lead Consultant with Immigration@SG LLP (IASG), she currently supervises and manages a team of highly efficient Immigration Consultants to assist clients with all their immigration requirements.
